Talking Sticks is an inspirational documentary about a musician’s inner and outer journeys with his instruments. Arthur Lipner has become one of the top marimba and vides players in the world. His unique instruments have afforded him many opportunities for travel and performance -yet their very novelty has also created a disconnect, since they’re not part of the mainstream music scene in America. His exploration and conquering of this disconnect is what Talking Sticks is all about.

Kirby edited together the following trailer, which was used to market and promote Arthur’s documentary.
